There’s only a few times a year one of my best friends, Charlotte comes home from overseas so I couldn’t wait to spend Ladies Day again with her this year!  The sun was shining and we were ready for a great day, filled with amazing fashion in the finals of the Fashions On The Field competition and fun in the Mumm marquee.

Being ladies day, we both opted for feminine silhouettes and colour palettes. White and gold has been a favourite of mine this season so my mum and I once again whipped up a very last minute outfit for the day. Accompanied by another amazing hair style from the geniuses at Heading Out Hair and Beauty in Fitzroy and my new favourite Kim Weibenga headpiece – the outfit was complete.

A top 10 in the daily final of Fashions On The Field competition and the incredible acrobatics over the Mumm Rose Soleil pool were definitely the highlights of the day. I can’t wait for the fun to come on the last day of the carnival – Emirates Stakes Day
