In terms of race wear, the word relaxed is quite foreign to me. When I go to the races, I like to go all out with big millinery and a statement dress so for me relaxed race wear was a bit of fun and a challenge.

One of my favourite relaxed race days is Blue Diamond Stakes at Caulfield Racecourse and with only a few weeks to plan an outfit, I started trolling the internet for the perfect relaxed dress for the occasion.

Off the shoulder dressing is a big trend at the moment and not something I would wear usually for the races so with this trend in mind, I logged onto my favourite trusty site, Asos.

I managed to find a gorgeous organic striped dress with bronze tones which actually matched a Rebecca Share headpiece I already owned. Win, Win! I love to reuse pieces from my wardrobe so this outfit came together really easily!
